Stood an old Chevrolet
With its bumper a touchin the ground
I opened the door
And i fell through the floor
And the roof top came tumblin down
I pulled the choke
And the steering wheel broke
And the car filled up with smoke

So i prayed to the Lord
That he’d send me a ford
And he towed that old chevy away
Oh i got a little hunk of tin
Nobody knows what shape its in
