The objective is to understand what campers want most out of camp, and to introduce them to other campers
The object of this activity is to get every camper socializing. Each camper takes a stick (washed or unwashed) and raises it up and says their name, where they’re from and what they want out of their summer camp experience. They might say something like “I’m Jane, I’m from Georgia and I want to learn to make my own jewelry” and after they’ve shared their dreams and wishes they toss their sticks into the campfire. The other campers then take turns doing the same thing until every stick has been placed in the campfire.
