Precut oval manila paper, scissors, magazines, glue sticks, markers.
To show the children that “faces” can be found in nature. To enhance creativity.
Take the children on a walk and look for “faces” in trees. Encourage the children to collect items from nature during their walk. My camp counselor, Miss Rhonda then gave the children precut ovals (8″-10″). They used the nature items and magazine cuttings (eyes, noses, mouths) to make faces. Very unique and individualized.
