This is a chant that we loved to do at camp. Insert a name in the blank, and have the kids clap as they do this chant. It is a back-and-forth between two people.
1″Show me how to get down!”
1″SHOW US HOW TO GET DOWN.”
2″Okay. I stomp, my feet, I boogie to the beat. I turn around and touch the ground, and that’s the way I get down!”
Continue onto the next person. Instead of boogie, people can say “wiggle, dance, hop, jump” etc. I’m surprised this site did not have this chant… it’s a classic for Western New York! 🙂
